Notes:

It is a little surprising to find this piece labelled as written by a boy;
the writer uses the self-description "tomboy" (0002260), usually said only
of girls (and impressionistically the piece reads more like a girl's than
a boy's output in other ways too). But Handscombe (1967a) has the symbol
"B" rather than "G", and we have no way of going behind that.

0001640 "Philip is keen on fishing and swimming, Martin on gardening and Alan,
	whose hobby, which you can hardly call a hobby, is being a monkey."
	probably meant to write "... and Alan ... on being a monkey",
	co-ordinating sentences rather than adding a noun phrase conjunct
