From BNC file CHS: Susan M. Shortland, _Managing relocation_, Macmillan
Publishers Ltd, Basingstoke, 1987.

00665 In the title ending "Among Major UK Companies", the BNC file has the
end-italics marker between "UK" and "Companies". This is obviously a mistake,
whether in the original text or by the BNC compilers, and is corrected in
LUCY.

After 00678 and 00692, the BNC files contain <note> elements explaining that
pages 47 and 49 of the original publication consist of tables. Since LUCY
does not retain information about page numbering of the original texts, these
notes are eliminated.

00727 Sentence-initial "for instance" -> "For instance". This is
probably an error in BNC rather than a misprint in the original; there
seems to be a recurring pattern whereby, when BNC wordtags a sequence
of words as an idiom ("for instance" is tagged as an AV0 idiom in BNC),
a capital that may be present in the original is reduced to lower case
in the BNC file.
