From BNC file A1U: Focus material from _The Independent_, electronic
edition of 3 Oct 1989

00062 The words "uncomfortable growth industry" are evidently the end of
an editorial introduction, to a reporter's story beginning with the
following words "The security guard". Accordingly LUCY has made this
a paragraph boundary (the end of one O tagma and beginning of the next),
in terms of the parse-tagging.
But the BNC file has neither SGML entities marking the para division, nor
even a closing punctuation mark on "industry"; and in consequence the
sequence has been numbered as a single BNC s-unit. Consequently
there are no <epara>, <bpara> entities at this point in the LUCY word field.
(It may of course be
that graphic differences between editorial matter and story in the original
publication made a closing punctuation mark redundant.)
